Summary: As a result of global warming, Taiwan's climate patterns are changing, leading meteorological research organizations and officials to value the estimation of precipitable water vapor (PWV) using GPS signals for predicting disaster-type weather. Studies show that GPS-PWV is more accurate than ECMWF-PWV, and the trends in rainfall do not completely align with PWV trends.
