All-inorganic lead-free NiOx/Cs3Bi2Br9 perovskite heterojunction photodetectors for ultraviolet multispectral imaging

Yujin Liu et al.

Summary: This study presents a self-powered NiOx/Cs3Bi2Br9 heterojunction photodetector with excellent photodetection performance achieved by electrochemically depositing NiOx as the hole transport layer. The optimized NiOx/Cs3Bi2Br9 heterojunction photodetector exhibits outstanding ultraviolet detection performance with fast response speed, wide dynamic range, high responsivity, and high detectivity, meeting the requirements for high-quality ultraviolet imaging. By integrating this optimized photodetector into a transmission mode ultraviolet multispectral imaging system, admirable imaging results were achieved under weak light conditions, showcasing the potential for bismuth-based ultraviolet photodetection and imaging development.
