The novel computer simulation technology used in this study paves the way for preparing multi-functional microwave absorbers derived from biomass raw materials.

Multifunctional Flame-Retardant Melamine-Based Hybrid Foam for Infrared Stealth, Thermal Insulation, and Electromagnetic Interference Shielding

The hybrid foam also exhibits great flame retardancy, heat insulation, and potential for applications in both military and civilian fields. The coaction of AgNWs and Fe3O4 nanoparticles contributes to the high EMI-shielding effectiveness of the material.
