Bi-Directional functionalization of urea-complexed SnO2 for efficient planar perovskite solar cells

Urea-SnO2, synthesized through a one-step method, enhances charge transfer and reduces trap state density, leading to high performance PSCs with a champion PCE of 20.25%. Functionalizing SnO2 in situ by precursor solution method offers an efficient approach for high performance planar PSCs.

Semiconductor Nb-Doped SrTiO3-δ Perovskite Electrolyte for a Ceramic Fuel Cell

Summary: A chemically stable perovskite semiconductor Nb-doped SrTiO3-delta (STN) electrolyte for SCFCs demonstrated high power density and open-circuit voltage at 520 degrees C. The high ionic conductivity was attributed to increased oxygen vacancies and band gap modulation, while band bending at the electrode/electrolyte interface helped prevent short circuits. Doping and energy band gap modulation were shown to be effective strategies for advanced semiconductor electrolyte development in SCFCs.
