The authors developed a simulation model incorporating data on agricultural activity and snake behavior to predict seasonal snakebite patterns in Sri Lanka and demonstrated differences in risk patterns between different agricultural activities. The model can be transferable to other high snakebite burden locations for analysis and prediction.
