Associations between occupational therapy students' academic performance and their study approaches and perceptions of the learning environment

T. Bonsaksen et al.

Summary: This study found that better exam results were associated with being female, having higher scores on strategic approach, and lower scores on surface approach. Students aiming for good grades should use strategic study behaviors and avoid surface approach behaviors. The study suggests that while it is important to ensure a good quality learning environment, it does not significantly contribute to explaining students' academic performance.
