Measurement and Conceptualization of Gaming Disorder According to the World Health Organization Framework: the Development of the Gaming Disorder Test

Summary: The development of a brief four-item measure called The Gaming Disorder Test (GDT) allowed for the assessment of gaming disorder and exploration of its psychometric properties. The results indicated that GDT is best conceptualized within a single-factor structure, with the four items being valid, reliable, and highly suitable for measuring gaming disorder within a cross-cultural context.
