These effects are not only mediated by neurons, but also by astrocytes, the most abundant glial cells in the brain.

Summary: This study aims to compare the efficacy of Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) with conventional physiotherapy (CPT group) in improving functionality and quality of life for individuals with traumatic upper plexus injury. A treatment protocol was developed and a randomized controlled trial will be conducted to evaluate its effectiveness.
