The morphological and histological study of chicken left ovary during growth and development among Hy-line brown layers of different ages

Summary: This study investigates the changes in the left ovary and follicular development at different age stages in chickens, revealing a close correlation between the developmental stage of follicles and the appearance of the left ovary. As chicks grow older, the follicles become more irregular in shape, affecting the epithelium of the left ovary. Additionally, the normal physiological process of atresia is observed throughout the study, along with the development of rete ovarii in juvenile and adult chickens.
