The dissemination of corporate social responsibility into the intellectual structure of strategic management

Mehmet Ali Koseoglu et al.

Summary: This research identified four CSR clusters associated with strategic management research, made recommendations for scholars to focus on the importance of CSR within the resource-based view and stakeholder theory, and called for attention to the triple bottom line. Suggestions were also made for private firms to proactively respond to governmental regulations and differentiate between CSR and corporate sustainability. Research opportunities involving essential dimensions of CSR related to strategic management were outlined.
