COVID-19: Impact on the Musician and Returning to Singing; A Literature Review

Summary: This study aimed to review the impact of COVID-19 on musicians and returning to singing. A comprehensive search of peer-reviewed articles was conducted, revealing 56 articles from 2019 to 2020. The study found that COVID-19 has had a significant impact on singers and other musicians, affecting their voice and respiratory function. Risk of transmission through aerosolization/droplet formation can be mitigated by following COVID-19 guidelines.
