Recent Modifications of the Nuss Procedure The Pursuit of Safety During the Minimally Invasive Repair of Pectus Excavatum

Robert E. Kelly et al.

Summary: This review examines the standardized Nuss correction of pectus excavatum and vacuum bell treatment over the past 10 years. The findings suggest that the standardized Nuss procedure can be safely and effectively performed as a primary repair, while vacuum bell treatment shows better results in younger and less severe cases.
