Beyond lowest order mean-field theory for light interacting with atom arrays

F. Robicheaux et al.

Summary: Results from higher order mean-field calculations of light interacting with atom arrays are presented for both one- and two-time expectation values. The study shows that increasing the order of mean field can help better understand the response of atoms, but there are also limitations of higher order mean-field approximations.

Cavity-immune spectral features in the pulsed superradiant crossover regime

Mikkel Tang et al.

Summary: This study investigates the spectral properties and phase behavior of pulsed lasing on the S-1(0) - P-3(1) line of Sr-88 in a mK thermal ensemble. Experimental results show that for certain detunings of the cavity resonance, the influence of cavity noise on the lasing frequency can be eliminated to first order.
