Impact of anti-corruption and environmental regulation on the green development of China's manufacturing industry

Anhua Zhou et al.

Summary: This study investigates the impact of anti-corruption and environmental regulations on green development using China's provincial manufacturing industry data. The results show that anti-corruption and environmental regulations significantly improve manufacturing green development with a non-linear relationship between the two. The policy implication suggests that the government should focus on the role of anti-corruption and consider the spatial spillover effect, promoting the implementation effect of environmental regulations on green development.
