A novel approach for investigation of heat transfer enhancement with ferromagnetic hybrid nanofluid by considering solar radiation

K. Ganesh Kumar et al.

Summary: This study investigates the stability of heat transfer enhancement due to fluid property variations influenced by thermal radiation using suspended hybrid nanofluids. The results show that increasing the radiation parameter leads to higher heat transfer enhancement, while higher Prandtl numbers result in reduced heat transfer.

Summary: The study investigates the solid hybrid nanofluid flow and thermal transport characteristics over a slippery, nonlinear, uniform stretching surface, focusing on the influence of nanosolid particle shapes, permeability material, viscous dissipative flow, Cattaneo-Christov heat flux and radiate flux. The computational method employed is Keller-box's to identify self-similar resolution for transformed principles into ordinary-differential equations, leading to important results in the comparison of thermal transmission levels.

Computational single-phase comparative study of a Williamson nanofluid in a parabolic trough solar collector via the Keller box method

Wasim Jamshed et al.

Summary: This paper explores the two-dimensional flow over a stretched sheet in PTSC under Williamson nanofluid effects. By using useful transformations, the partial differential equations arising from the boundary layer equations of the Williamson nanofluid model are converted into nonlinear ordinary differential equations. The Keller box numerical scheme is utilized to find solutions for the resulting nonlinear ordinary differential equations.

Wasim Jamshed et al.

Summary: The study focuses on investigating the heat transfer and entropy generation analysis of Powell-Eyring nanofluid moving over a linearly expandable non-uniform medium. Various factors such as magnetic field, porous medium, radiative flux, nanoparticle shapes, viscous dissipative flow, heat source, and Joule heating are taken into account. Numerical solutions and graphical representations are used to demonstrate significant findings, including the increase in thermal conductivity in Powell-Eyring phenomena compared to classical liquids.

Thermal growth in solar water pump using Prandtl-Eyring hybrid nanofluid: a solar energy application

Wasim Jamshed et al.

Summary: This study investigates the production of Solar Water Pump (SWP) using Prandtl-Eyring hybrid nanofluid as the working fluid, and explores the impact of various factors on SWP production through numerical analysis. The findings show that increasing thermal radiation and thermal conductivity variables can enhance SWP production efficiency, while the addition of entropy is attributed to an increase in radiative flow, nanoparticle size, and Prandtl-Eyring variable.

Wasim Jamshed et al.

Summary: Heat is absorbed from the sun by a solar collector, concentrated, and transmitted to an active nanofluid in this study. The Casson nanofluid flow in a Parabolic Trough Solar Collector is analyzed over an infinite and porous sheet, with the use of nonlinear ODEs solved using the Keller box method. The thermal efficiency of Copper-engine oil and Iron (II, III) oxide-engine oil nanofluids is examined, showing a minimum enhancement of 2.7% and a maximum enhancement of 18.5% in heat transfer rate.

Summary: Modeling and computations were used to investigate the impact of various factors on Prandtl fluid past a stretching sheet. It was found that an increase in temperature convection parameter leads to an uplift in the temperature profile, and an increase in the chemical reaction coefficient escalates the mass fraction field.
