Few-Layer Siloxene as an Electrode for Superior High-Rate Zinc Ion Hybrid Capacitors

Summary: Zinc ion hybrid capacitors, with their high energy density and superb power output, are promising energy storage devices that are currently being developed with new electrode materials. By integrating siloxene into zinc ion hybrid capacitors, it shows higher specific capacitance, power density, and energy density, with good capacitance retention over cycles, demonstrating the potential of siloxene as an electrode material for future energy storage applications.
