Phytochemical constituents and anti-tyrosinase activity of Macadamia integrifolia leaves extract

Seham S. El Hawary et al.

Summary: In this study, the ethanolic extract of Macadamia integrifolia leaves was investigated, leading to the identification of 6 compounds. Two functional galactolipids, as well as gallic acid and protocatechuic acid, were discovered in the genus Macadamia for the first time. The extract and its fractions exhibited good tyrosinase inhibitory activity.
