The polarized transition matrix element Agq(N) of the variable flavor number scheme at O (αs3)

A. Behring et al.

Summary: This study analytically calculates the polarized massive operator matrix element at the 3-loop order in Quantum Chromodynamics, in both single- and double-mass cases, in the Larin scheme. The results are presented in momentum fraction space, and this transition function is essential for the variable flavor number scheme at O (alpha(3)(s)).

Drell-Yan qT resummation of fiducial power corrections at N3LL

Markus A. Ebert et al.

Summary: The study shows that linear power corrections are dominant for the fiducial q(T) spectrum and can be predicted and accumulated to the same order as the leading power contribution through factorization. The complete tensor decomposition method provides a rigorous theoretical basis for recoil schemes and accurate angular decomposition for complex cases such as Z/gamma (*) -> ll or W -> l nu.

Precision studies for Drell-Yan processes at NNLO

S. Alekhin et al.

Summary: A detailed comparison was made for four publicly available computer codes computing fixed-order predictions for Drell-Yan processes at the LHC and Tevatron colliders. It was found that while there is agreement among the predictions at NLO accuracy, differences arise at NNLO, potentially due to neglected power corrections in the codes using global slicing methods for double real emissions regularization.

Fiducial Higgs and Drell-Yan distributions at N3LL′+NNLO with RadISH

Emanuele Re et al.

Summary: This study presents state-of-the-art predictions for transverse observables relevant to colour-singlet production at the LHC, utilizing a NLL-L-3 resummation according to the RADISH formalism and matching the results with fixed-order differential spectra at NNLO accuracy. The inclusion of O(α(3)(s)) constant terms and transverse-recoil effects proves beneficial for comparing theoretical predictions to data, leaving a residual theoretical uncertainty in the resummation region at the 2-5% level for Drell-Yan observables, and 5-7% in Higgs production.

Drell-Yan lepton-pair production: qT resummation at N3LL accuracy and fiducial cross sections at N3LO

Stefano Camarda et al.

Summary: The study presents high-accuracy QCD predictions for Drell-Yan lepton pairs produced in hadronic collisions, including transverse-momentum distribution and fiducial cross sections. By summing up logarithmically enhanced contributions to all perturbative orders and combining with fixed-order predictions, perturbative uncertainty is reduced.

Logarithmic contributions to the polarized O(αs3) asymptotic massive Wilson coefficients and operator matrix elements in deeply inelastic scattering

J. Blumlein et al.

Summary: In this study, we calculated the logarithmic contributions to the polarized massive Wilson coefficients for deep-inelastic scattering in the asymptotic region where Q(2) >> m(2) up to three-loop order in the fixed-flavor number scheme. We also provided the corresponding expressions for the polarized massive operator matrix elements needed in the variable flavor number scheme, presented in Mellin-N space and momentum fraction z space. The calculation was carried out in the Larin scheme and complete results for the massive operator matrix elements A(qq,Q)((3),PS) and A(qq,Q)((3),S) were presented.
