Polyurethane scaffold implants for partial meniscus lesions: delayed intervention leads to an inferior outcome

Summary: The study evaluated the clinical outcomes of aliphatic polyurethane scaffold implantation for partial loss of meniscal tissue, showing a significant clinical benefit in a large number of patients. However, delayed implantation of the scaffold was associated with poorer post-operative clinical scores.
