An improved partial similitude method for dynamic characteristic of rotor systems based on Levenberg-Marquardt method

Lei Li et al.

Summary: Similitude theory is widely used in predicting the structural responses of full-size prototypes through scaled models. Partial similitude, more flexible in practical design, needs improvement in accuracy. An improved partial similitude approach is presented in this study to establish scaling laws for rotor systems and to overcome the insufficient accuracy of existing methods in predicting dynamic characteristics. The accuracy and effectiveness of this approach are validated through numerical and experimental case studies, showing higher accuracy than existing methods.

High-Robust Force Control for Environmental Stiffness Variation Based on Duality of Two-Inertia System

Yusuke Kawai et al.

Summary: The conventional force control method based on resonance ratio control (RRC) is evaluated for robust stability in the face of environmental stiffness variation. A new high-robust force control based on the duality of a two-inertia system is proposed, using an equivalent RRC (ERRC) to enhance robustness against K-e variation. Experimental results validate the effectiveness of this new control method.

Adaptive Fuzzy Backstepping Tracking Control for Flexible Robotic Manipulator

Wanmin Chang et al.

Summary: An adaptive fuzzy state feedback control method is proposed for a single-link robotic manipulator system with unknown nonlinear function and actuator saturation. The method uses fuzzy logic systems and a smooth function to approximate the unknown nonlinearities and actuator saturation. By combining command-filter technique with backstepping design algorithm, a novel control method is developed to guarantee stability and output tracking performance of the system.

Analysis of Contact Mechanical Characteristics of Flexible Parts in Harmonic Gear Reducer

Fanjie Li et al.

Summary: This study investigated the contact mechanical characteristics of flexible components in harmonic gear reducer, establishing finite element models for each component and verifying the correctness of the models through experiments. The research found that increasing the length of the cylinder can improve the stress of the flexspline, while the wall thickness of the bottom mainly affects the stress at the bottom of the flexsline.

Dynamic characteristics analysis of planetary gear system with internal and external excitation under turbulent wind load

Hexu Yang et al.

Summary: A two-parameter Weibull distribution model is used to describe the distribution of random wind speed in the 1.5 MW wind turbine planetary gear system, and a nonlinear dynamic model of the system is established. The influence of random load and stiffness ratio on the transmission system is analyzed, showing that changing the stiffness ratio can help the planetary gear avoid chaos and enter stable periodic motion.
