Adsorption of Cr(VI), Ni(II), Fe(II) and Cd(II) ions by KIAgNPs decorated MWCNTs in a batch and fixed bed process

Titus Chinedu Egbosiuba et al.

Summary: Efficient removal of toxic metal ions from chemical industry wastewater is achieved using KIAgNPs decorated MWCNTs nano adsorbent, showing excellent performance in both batch and fixed bed systems. The study demonstrated successful deposition of KIAgNPs on the surface of MWCNTs for enhanced adsorption of Cr(VI), Ni(II), Fe(II), Cd(II) ions and physico-chemical parameters removal from wastewater.

Digestibility and metabolism of copper in diets for pigs and influence of dietary copper on growth performance, intestinal health, and overall immune status: a review

Charmaine D. Espinosa et al.

Summary: Copper plays an important role in the growth and health of pigs, with supplementation at appropriate levels promoting growth and reducing intestinal diseases. Further research is needed to explore potential interactions between copper and non-nutritive feed additives, as well as to determine the optimal quantity of copper and duration for supplemental feeding in pig diets.
