The influence of phenolic environmental estrogen on the transcriptome of uterine leiomyoma cells: A whole transcriptome profiling-based analysis

Zemin Li et al.

Summary: The study identified potential molecular targets and signal pathways by which phenolic environmental estrogens promote the proliferation of uterine leiomyoma cells. Both BPA and NP activated the PI3K-AKT signaling pathway and promoted cell cycle progression, leading to disordered cell cycle regulation. In addition, phenolic estrogen stimulated the upregulation of inflammatory factors in uterine leiomyomas.
