Layered VO2@N-doped carbon composites for high-performance rechargeable aqueous zinc-ion batteries

Summary: A facile calcination process was used to prepare VO2 and N-doped carbon composite with more active sites, higher conductivity, and less structural change during ion diffusion, resulting in excellent electrochemical performance for rechargeable aqueous zinc-ion batteries. This work could offer a new and efficient avenue for designing cathodes with superior performance in AZIBs.
