Extending theory of planned behavior in household waste sorting in China: the moderating effect of knowledge, personal involvement, and moral responsibility

Yixuan Wang et al.

Summary: The study found that environmental regulation has the highest impact on behavioral intention for household waste sorting, followed by perceived behavior control and attitude. Intention and perceived behavior control positively impact behavior for waste sorting, and knowledge, personal involvement, and moral responsibility have positive moderating effects on the relationship between perceived behavior control and sorting behavior.
