Tiger density, movements, and immigration outside of a tiger source site in Thailand

Summary: The study investigated tiger density in two reserves adjacent to a potential source site in Thailand, revealing low population density and extensive tiger movements possibly due to scarcity of prey. Furthermore, it was observed that the process of tiger recovery is slow when prey is scarce, even in well-managed areas connected to a source site.
