Isolated metal atoms and clusters for alkane activation: Translating knowledge from enzymatic and homogeneous to heterogeneous systems

Accelerated Anti-Markovnikov Alkene Hydrosilylation with Humic-Acid-Supported Electron-Deficient Platinum Single Atoms

Summary: The study synthesized electron-deficient Pt single atoms supported on humic matter for use as a catalyst in hydrosilylation reactions, demonstrating super activity and selectivity. The coordination interaction between Rh-1 and surface phosphorus species was clarified by P-31 solid-state NMR and X-ray absorption spectroscopy.

Proposed challenges and future developments aim to provide an overall view and guidance for future research in this area.
