In the January issue of Chem, Farha and his co-workers demonstrated a breakthrough phenomenon by selectively de-interpenetrating uranium-containing metal-organic frameworks (MOFs), enabling the design and preparation of highly open MOF structures. This powerful concept offers a unique approach for synthesizing application-driven porous materials with accessible pore apertures.
In the January issue of Chem, a breakthrough phenomenon demonstrated by Farha and co-workers on the example of uranium-containing metal-organic frameworks (MOFs) allowed for the design and preparation of highly open MOF structures through a selective de-interpenetration process. This powerful concept proffers a unique approach to the synthesis of application-driven porous materials with accessible pore apertures.
