Non-precious cobalt phthalocyanine-embedded iron ore electrocatalysts for hydrogen evolution reactions

Keshavananda C. P. Prabhu et al.

Summary: Efficient water splitting reactions are crucial for sustainable hydrogen production. In this study, a highly active non-precious electrocatalyst using a cobalt phthalocyanine-embedded iron ore particle hybrid composite was developed for the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER). The composite material exhibited remarkable HER activity, comparable to precious metal and metal oxide electrocatalysts.
