FTIR Imaging of Protein Microarrays for High Throughput Secondary Structure Determination

Summary: The paper presents a new method for high-throughput protein structure determination using protein microarrays and FTIR imaging. It introduces a new protein library cSP92 designed to cover a wide range of structural space, and correlates spectral characteristics to secondary structure features using ASLR, PLS, and SVM. The results show that ASLR provides better results and the high throughput microarray approach is suitable for accurately determining protein secondary structure.
