Adaptive attack-resilient control for Markov jump system with additive attacks

Hangfeng He et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the attack-resilient control problem for Markov jump systems with additive attacks, considering both sensor attacks and actuator attacks. A novel adaptive attack-resilient control strategy based on projection operation and adaptive laws is proposed, ensuring boundedness and stability of system states by combining the adaptive method and tracking control method. The effectiveness of the adaptive attack-resilient control strategy is illustrated through an application example.

Analysis and synthesis of networked control systems with random network-induced delays and sampling intervals

Haoyuan Sun et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the stability and controller design of Networked Control Systems (NCSs) with network-induced delays and random sampling intervals. By considering moment stability and Lyapunov stability and using a new matrix decomposition method, conditions for stability and a stabilization controller design are derived. The proposed approach is validated through a benchmark example to demonstrate its effectiveness.

Adaptive Event-Triggered SMC for Stochastic Switching Systems With Semi-Markov Process and Application to Boost Converter Circuit Model

Wenhai Qi et al.

Summary: This article investigates the sliding mode control design for a class of stochastic switching systems with an adaptive event-triggered mechanism to address network-induced communication constraints and semi-Markov switching parameters. The goal is to achieve stochastic stability and reduce communication burden by designing an appropriate SMC law. By introducing a stochastic semi-Markov Lyapunov functional, sufficient conditions are established for stochastic stability, and a suitable SMC law is designed to drive the system state onto a specified sliding surface in a finite-time region. Simulation results on a boost converter circuit model demonstrate the effectiveness of the theoretical findings.

Non-fragile H∞ SMC for Markovian jump systems in a finite-time

Wenhai Qi et al.

Summary: This paper discusses the H-infinity finite-time realization for uncertain Markovian jump systems with unmeasurable state using the sliding mode control method. By designing an appropriate finite-time sliding mode control law based on a non-fragile observer, the system's overall performance can be improved. Through solving linear matrix inequalities, the controller gain and observer gain are obtained, and a single-link robot arm model is used to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed method.

Hierarchical stability conditions of systems with time-varying delay

Hong-Bing Zeng et al.

Summary: This paper investigates the stability problem of time-varying delay systems by constructing a delay-product Lyapunov-Krasovskii functional and establishing a stability criterion with the advantages of convexity properties. The criterion in terms of LMI can be checked accurately using an improved negativity condition, as demonstrated in numerical examples. The proposed method greatly reduces conservativeness without increasing the number of decision variables.

Finite-Time Event-Triggered Control for Semi-Markovian Switching Cyber-Physical Systems With FDI Attacks and Applications

Wenhai Qi et al.

Summary: This paper discusses the finite-time event-triggered control problem for nonlinear semi-Markovian switching cyber-physical systems under false data injection attacks. The proposed event-triggered scheme effectively avoids network resource waste and establishes a closed-loop system model considering network-induced delay. By analyzing stochastic finite-time stability of the closed-loop system, the solvability conditions for the finite-time controller are established.
