Almost 100 % Peroxymonosulfate Conversion to Singlet Oxygen on Single-Atom CoN2+2 Sites

Summary: This study demonstrates a strategy to regulate the generation of reactive oxygen species by atomically dispersed cobalt anchored on nitrogen-doped carbon, with singlet oxygen being the predominant reactive oxygen species. Activation of peroxymonosulfate by iron-biochar composites: Comparison of nanoscale Fe with single-atom Fe

Iron-based metal organic framework MIL-88-A for the degradation of naproxen in water through persulfate activation

Peroxymonosulfate activation through LED-induced ZnFe2O4 for levofloxacin degradation

Summary: This study reported an integrated peroxymonosulfate (PMS) activation process by coupling ZnFe2O4 (ZFO) with energy-saving LED for degradation and defluorination of levofloxacin (LEV). Possible degradation pathways and mechanisms were proposed, showing promising LED-assisted PMS activation process for antibiotic degradation.
