A Novel Underwater Acoustic Signal Denoising Algorithm for Gaussian/Non-Gaussian Impulsive Noise

Summary: A new underwater acoustic noise model and a novel underwater acoustic signal denoising algorithm AWMF+GDES were proposed in this study, combining symmetric alpha-stable distribution with normal distribution and utilizing adaptive window median filter and enhanced wavelet threshold optimization algorithm. The proposed algorithm showed higher output signal-to-noise ratio, noise suppression ratio, and lower root mean square error compared to existing algorithms in both numerical simulations and experimental results.
