Piezoelectric properties and microstructure of ceramicrete-based piezoelectric composites

Weijian Ding et al.

Summary: In this study, a Ceramicrete-based piezoelectric composite utilizing magnesium potassium phosphate cement as the matrix and lead zirconate titanate particle as the functional phase was proposed. Results showed that the piezoelectric performance increased with the size of the piezoelectric ceramic particles, and aging of the composite was attributed to continuous hydration. Overall, the composites exhibited high piezoelectric performance and showed promise as a sensing element material.
