Facile Fabrication of Nylon66/Multi-Wall Carbon Nanotubes/Polyvinyl Alcohol Nanofiber Bundles for Use as Humidity Sensors

Yanhui Yang et al.

Summary: A miniaturized high-performance humidity sensor was fabricated using nylon66/MWCNTs nanofiber bundles immersed in polyvinyl alcohol solution. The sensor exhibited wide range of humidity sensitivity, fast response-recovery time, small hysteresis, and good repeatability. It provides a promising opportunity for manufacturing smaller humidity sensors for electronic products.

Flexible Noncontact Sensing for Human-Machine Interaction

Lijun Lu et al.

Summary: Noncontact human-machine interaction is highly desired due to issues with contact sensors, especially during pandemics. A flexible high-sensitivity humidity sensor and array utilizing multilayer graphene in electrospun polyamide has been developed for noncontact asthma detection and medicine delivery for bedridden patients. The development of such technology could lead to a new era of smart electronics with noncontact interaction.
