Summary: This study synthesized the experience of disadvantaged and vulnerable women in high-income countries in maternity care, revealing issues such as prejudiced care, lack of interpersonal relationships and interactions, and heightened insecurities. The findings highlighted the importance of addressing negative attitudes towards these women in maternity care settings and the need for further research to identify suitable care pathways.
