Calculation of Feynman loop integration and phase-space integration via auxiliary mass flow

Xiao Liu et al.

Summary: The auxiliary-mass-flow (AMF) method, originally developed for Feynman loop integration, has been extended to handle integrals involving phase-space integration. By numerically solving differential equations with respect to the auxiliary mass, the flow of the auxiliary mass from infinity to the physical point is obtained. This method can be combined with the traditional differential-equation method for problems with multiple kinematic invariants, providing systematic boundary conditions and a highly nontrivial self-consistency check.

Contribution of third generation quarks to two-loop helicity amplitudes for W boson pair production in gluon fusion

Christian Bronnum-Hansen et al.

Summary: In this study, we computed the contribution of third generation quarks to the two-loop amplitude for on-shell W boson pair production in gluon fusion process gg -> WW. The master integrals were efficiently evaluated by numerically solving ordinary differential equations, and plots were presented for the amplitude across partonic phase space along with reference values for two kinematic points.

Single-top-quark production in the t-channel at NNLO

John Campbell et al.

Summary: This study presents a calculation of t-channel single-top-quark production and decay in the five-flavor scheme at NNLO, resolving a disagreement between previous calculations. The use of NNLO corrections is crucial for precise identification of the t-channel process.

Top quark contribution to two-loop helicity amplitudes for Z boson pair production in gluon fusion

Christian Bronnum-Hansen et al.

Summary: In this study, the top quark contribution to the two-loop amplitude for on-shell Z boson pair production in gluon fusion is calculated, retaining exact dependence on the top quark mass. Numerical integral reduction and evaluation of master integrals using the auxiliary mass flow method allow for fast computation of the amplitude with very high precision.

Differential distributions for single top quark production at the LHeC

Meisen Gao et al.

Summary: The study focuses on single top (anti)quark production with leptonic decays at the Large Hadron Electron Collider at next-to-leading order in QCD. The NLO corrections reduce the fiducial cross section by 14%, while the NLO predictions exhibit strong stability under scale variations. A method for determining the top quark mass using the measurement of the average transverse momentum of the charged lepton is proposed, with scale variations at NLO introducing a theoretical uncertainty of about 1.3 GeV.

Reduction of the planar double-box diagram for single-top production via auxiliary mass flow

Najam ul Basat et al.

Summary: Researchers have improved the auxiliary mass flow method by introducing e truncation to efficiently reduce the next-to-next-to-leading order single-top amplitude, which is crucial for enhancing calculation efficiency. By selecting a typical planar double-box diagram, it was found that one coefficient of the form factors on its amplitude can be systematically reduced into the linear combination of 198 scalar integrals.
