Imprinting the quantum statistics of photons on free electrons

Summary: This research demonstrates the transition of photon statistics effects in free-electron-light interactions and the potential for ultrafast quantum tomography of light using free electrons as probes. The electron walker can perform both quantum weak measurements and projective measurements, leading to previously inaccessible concepts in quantum optics.
