Correlation between Positive Orientation and Control of Anger, Anxiety and Depression in Nursing Students in Poland, Spain and Slovakia during the COVID-19 Pandemic

Anxiety and coping strategies among nursing students returning to university during the COVID-19 pandemic

Summary: This study assessed COVID-19 infection-related anxiety and coping strategies among nursing students returning to university campuses in Jordan. Results showed that 70.6% of students reported mild to severe anxiety levels. Female students and those who had fears of becoming infected with COVID-19 were found to be at higher risk of anxiety. There was also a positive correlation between students' anxiety levels and their dysfunctional coping strategies. These findings highlight the importance of emotional support and personal safety measures for nursing students in the classroom and clinical settings.
