Sylvia Kritzinger et al.

Summary: In Austria, a strong rally effect was shown during the COVID-19 crisis, where trust was closely tied to perceived health risks but quickly faded over time. Coping with COVID-19-induced threats to self

Arie W. Kruglanski et al.

Summary: While the COVID-19 pandemic brings uncertainty and anxiety to people, the latter may come from the subjective certainty of negative outcomes increasing during the pandemic rather than uncertainty itself. People's reactions to the pandemic are influenced by value-oriented narratives, which can drive both pro- and anti-social behaviors during this time.
