Influenza vaccination rates, knowledge, attitudes and behaviours of healthcare workers in Turkey: A multicentre study

Nesibe Korkmaz et al.

Summary: The study found that only 6.7% of healthcare workers in Turkey regularly received influenza vaccination each year, with 55% never having received the vaccine before. The main obstacle against vaccination was not believing in the necessity of the vaccine (53.1%). Addressing false knowledge and attitudes towards the vaccine and disease is key to increasing vaccination rates among healthcare workers.

Summary: This study in Honduras evaluated the knowledge, attitudes, and practices of healthcare workers regarding seasonal influenza vaccination.
