Upregulation of CPNE3 suppresses invasion, migration and proliferation of glioblastoma cells through FAK pathway inactivation

Summary: This study found that CPNE3 expression is higher in GBM tissues compared to normal brain tissues, and silencing CPNE3 impairs the migration, invasion, and proliferation abilities of GBM cells, which may be attributed to inactivation of the FAK signaling pathway. These findings highlight the role of CPNE3 as a new biomarker and provide deeper insights into its carcinogenic role in GBM.
