Cancer Incidence and Mortality in the Oldest Old: A Nationwide Study in Finland

Tomas Tanskanen et al.

Summary: The increasing cancer burden in the oldest old poses a major challenge for health care in Finland, with nearly 1 in 10 cancers diagnosed in individuals aged 85 and above. Clinical characteristics and overall survival nomogram of second primary malignancies after prostate cancer, a SEER population-based study

Yi Liu et al.

Summary: Prostate cancer (PCa) is the most common cancer among males with an extended survival period, but with increased risk of developing second primary malignancies (SPMs). By analyzing data from the SEER database, this study identified factors associated with the overall survival (OS) of SPM patients following PCa and constructed a nomogram for predicting their prognosis, showing promising performance in assessing 3-year and 5-year OS rates.
