Analysis of Strength and Microstructural Characteristics of Mine Backfills Containing Fly Ash and Desulfurized Gypsum

Zhiqiang Huang et al.

Summary: The study found that the ideal ratio of fly ash and desulfurized gypsum as backfill materials, as well as the corresponding compressive strength values. It was observed that increasing the proportion of desulfurized gypsum led to a decrease in the compressive strength of the backfilling materials, with the main failure modes being tensile and shearing cracks.
