Bending work of laminated materials based on densified wood and reinforcing components

Adam Sikora et al.

Summary: This study analyzes the composition of laminated materials based on solid and thermo-mechanically densified beech wood, as well as the use of reinforcing fibers. By examining factors such as input thickness, densification degree, and type of reinforcing fibers, the behavior of elastic, plastic, and total bending work was investigated. The findings point to a more efficient choice of wood modifications by densification and reinforcing fibers.
