Exome-Wide Association Study Identifies FN3KRP and PGP as New Candidate Longevity Genes

Guillermo G. Torres et al.

Summary: Despite extensive research efforts, the genetic component of longevity remains largely unknown. A chip-based exome-wide association study revealed potential candidate longevity genes, FN3KRP and PGP, which may influence longevity through their roles in metabolic processes. These genes were identified through their associations with specific variants and gene expression levels related to longevity.
