The area rule for circulation in three-dimensional turbulence

On the determination of vortex ring vorticity using Lagrangian particles

Lagrangian pseudovorticity field can be used to estimate the propagation velocity and growth of isolated vortex rings, but reconstruction of corresponding vorticity fields remains challenging. Particles with high inertia may bias the pseudovorticity fields, impacting the estimation of vortex ring properties.

Multifractality breaking from bounded random measures

Summary: This study investigates the linearization effect in multifractal systems and the use of Liouville-like random measures within the framework of Gaussian multiplicative chaos. The research shows that the statistical properties of Gaussian multiplicative chaos are preserved in the linear regime of scaling exponents, and can be effectively applied to problems in turbulent circulation statistics.
