The Hubbard Model: A Computational Perspective

Mingpu Qin et al.

Summary: The Hubbard model, as the simplest model of interacting fermions on a lattice, exhibits a wealth of phases, phase transitions, and exotic correlation phenomena. In recent years, numerical tools have made impressive progress in achieving quantitative accurate results, offering deeper insights into the correlation physics of the model.

High Temperature Superconductivity in a Lightly Doped Quantum Spin Liquid

Hong-Chen Jiang et al.

Summary: In a t-J model with small hole doping and frustration, power-law superconducting correlations and exponentially decreasing spin-spin correlations were observed, suggesting a smooth evolution from the insulating parent state. The presence of frustration led to a strong diverging superconducting susceptibility as the temperature approached zero.

Robust d-Wave Superconductivity in the Square-Lattice t-J Model

Shoushu Gong et al.

Summary: This study explores the possible superconducting state in doped Mott insulators, establishing a quantum phase diagram including a stripe charge density wave phase, a superconducting phase without static charge order, and a superconducting phase coexistent with a weak charge stripe order. The findings indicate that enhanced charge and spin fluctuations with optimal doping can produce robust d-wave superconductivity in doped Mott insulators.

Superconductivity in the doped quantum spin liquid on the triangular lattice

Hong-Chen Jiang

Summary: This study investigates lightly doped Quantum Spin Liquid (QSL) through a large-scale density-matrix renormalization group study of the t-J model, revealing evidence that doping QSL can naturally give rise to d-wave superconductivity. The spin-spin correlations fall exponentially, suggesting a smooth evolution of superconducting pair-pair correlations from the insulating parent state.

Tendencies of enhanced electronic nematicity in the Hubbard model and a comparison with Raman scattering on high-temperature superconductors

Tianyi Liu et al.

Summary: The pseudogap regime of cuprate high-temperature superconductors exhibits various competing orders, with recent experiments providing evidence for electron nematic order. Raman spectroscopy is a unique tool for assessing nematic fluctuations and tendencies. Comparison of quantum Monte Carlo simulations and experimental Raman spectroscopy results in underdoped cuprates suggest the presence of nematic fluctuations with B-1g symmetry.

Stripe order in the doped Hubbard model on the honeycomb lattice

Xu Yang et al.

Summary: By using the density matrix renormalization group method, the study on the ground state properties of the doped Hubbard model on the honeycomb lattice revealed the presence of a half-filled stripe order. Additionally, complementary large-scale mean-field calculations were performed to observe nearly degenerate stripe states with filling close to one half.

Doping Quantum Spin Liquids on the Kagome Lattice

Cheng Peng et al.

Summary: Recent studies on lightly doped quantum spin liquids on the kagome lattice show a tendency towards fractionalized insulating charge-density-wave states rather than distinct conducting phases like high temperature superconductivity. Light doping leads to CDW long-range order in various types of QSLs, with short-ranged spin-spin correlations, suggesting insulating states with long-range CDW order upon doping.
