The coming wave of aluminum sheet scrap from vehicle recycling in the United States

Summary: The study estimates the timing, scale, and composition of high value recycling of aluminum alloys, finding that aluminum ABS scrap from aluminum sheet intensive vehicles presents significant opportunities for U.S. recyclers. Through a Markov chain model, it is found that the majority of this scrap will be available for domestic processing in the U.S.
