Investigation on interaction behavior between coarse and fine particles in the coal flotation using focused beam reflectance measurement (FBRM) and particle video microscope (PVM)

Xuexia Wang et al.

Summary: The study demonstrated that coarse coal particles can greatly enhance the flotation of fine coal by accumulating or adhering to them, as the total interaction between the two types of particles was found to be attractive based on the theoretical calculation of EDLVO.

Effect of scrubbing medium ' s particle size on scrubbing flotation performance and mineralogical characteristics of microcrystalline graphite

Xuexia Wang et al.

Summary: Scrubbing is a suitable method for cleaning fine slime on microcrystalline graphite surface and improving its flotation performance. This study found that the particle size of the scrubbing medium is the most important factor influencing the enrichment efficiency of microcrystalline graphite. The optimal conditions for the scrubbing process were determined and confirmed through testing.
