An effect of MHD and radiation on CNTS-Water based nanofluids due to a stretching sheet in a Newtonian fluid

U. S. Mahabaleshwar et al.

Summary: This study investigates the magnetohydrodynamic flow of a Newtonian fluid over a superlinear stretching/shrinking sheet, and examines the impact of factors such as radiation, mass transpiration, and carbon nanotubes on fluid flow and heat transfer. The results suggest that carbon nanotubes play a significant role in enhancing heat transfer processes, especially in applications such as nanomedicine and cancer treatment.

Significance of the inconstant viscosity and internal heat generation on the occurrence of Darcy-Brinkman convective motion in a couple-stress fluid saturated porous medium: An analytical solution

Dhananjay Yadav et al.

Summary: The study explored the effects of temperature-dependent viscosity and internal heat generation on convective motion in couple stress fluids saturated in a thin porous layer. It was found that the viscosity deviation and internal heat generation parameters have a destabilizing effect, while the couple stress parameter and Darcy number stabilize the fluidic system. Increasing the couple stress parameter and Darcy number led to an increase in the critical thermal Darcy-Rayleigh number.

Two dimensional unsteady stagnation point flow of Casson hybrid nanofluid over a permeable flat surface and heat transfer analysis with radiation

T. Anusha et al.

Summary: This study investigates the inclined magnetohydrodynamic flow and heat transfer characteristics of Casson hybrid nanofluid passing through a porous stretching sheet under the influence of inclined magnetic field and thermal radiation. The results show that the use of HNF enhances heat transfer and pressure drop, and an increase in the suction parameter intensity improves friction coefficient and heat transfer enhancement.

Impact of Inclined Lorentz Force and Schmidt Number on Chemically Reactive Newtonian Fluid Flow on a Stretchable Surface When Stefan Blowing and Thermal Radiation are Significant

U. S. Mahabaleshwar et al.

Summary: This study investigates the influence of inclined magnetic field and heat and mass transfer on a hydromagnetic fluid on a stretching/shrinking sheet with Stefan blowing effects and radiation. By transforming the elementary viscous equations into highly nonlinear ordinary differential equations through similarity transformation, the subsequent highly nonlinear differential equation is solved analytically. The exact solution of heat and mass transfer appearances is found in terms of the incomplete gamma function, and the impact of various parameters on velocity and temperature summaries is discussed in detail.
